These service offerings are by far the most personal and intimate of services provided by Ryan Brewer Studio; they also generally require a great deal of ongoing, inner work from the client. This spiritual practice operates from the understanding that all states of existence are experienced on a continuum, the cycles of which are sometimes more dramatic (or even seemingly cataclysmic) than others, but nonetheless our pain and growth are interwoven. I offer my services as facilitator and chaperone to the specific work that is required of your spirit, should you wish to take this on consciously and with intention. I will be honored to serve and assist you on your journey should you deem me worthy of the task.
The range of clientele that I work with is broad and far-reaching, but I predominantly serve local LGBTQ communities as well as all types of artists, young and established alike. I also work with businesspersons interested in addressing energetic blockages, fostering attitudes of success, and forming pragmatic plans for goal setting and achievement. No matter your background or intention for enlisting my services, I am confident that our shared experience will be as transformative as it is down-to-earth and do-able.
As of 2020, I will also be happy to meet with your canine animal companions on a case-by-case basis to facilitate and assist an energetic healing plan that may be needed for reasons of post-traumatic experience or other cognitive-behavioral concerns.
I have over 17 years of applied experience and 35+ years of lived experience as an empath, artist, caregiver, and astrally-abled being. As a youth, I was raised in a Lutheran/Christian tradition, which was not in line with my queer identity nor my spiritual identity. Since then, my education has been pieced together formally and informally as follows:
I have received formal meditation training from Tibet House (NYC) and the Shambhala Meditation Center of New York and have formally studied tantra under Michael R. Sheehy, Ph. D. I have received informal training from artist/healer AA Bronson (my predominant teacher of the Tarot, whose method I continue to use to this day) as well as artist/social choreographer Ernesto Pujol, who taught me the trials and pitfalls of Ego and Illusion. Additionally, I have participated in the recovery communities of both New York City and Los Angeles since 2011. In 2013, I was invited by Brad Lamm, acclaimed interventionist and founder of Breathe Life Healing Centers, to assist in the project management and facilitation of aesthetic identity and environmental care of the organization’s serene Laurel Canyon and West Hollywood campuses. I also work with Amanda Yates Garcia (also known as The Oracle of Los Angeles) and continue to receive her services as needed.
Given that creative, artistic activity is vital to my spiritual wellness and what I believe to be a physical manifestation of my work here on this plane, I also hold a BFA in fine arts from Parsons the New School for Design (NYC), and an MFA in art from ArtCenter College of Design (Pasadena, CA). It was here that I had the opportunity to work with and learn from the renowned California artist Lita Albuquerque on the vital importance of strengthening and refining one’s sensitivities to our earth and place within the cosmos, and trusting ourselves with the creative process enough to know how to make the wisest use of this knowledge. I believe that I am equipped to work and think both critically and intuitively to maximum effect, utilizing a wide spectrum of cognitive and psychic processes for philosophical as well as practical problem-solving.
How it works + What to expect:
My specific practice begins with an energy clearing and an initial consultation for first-time clients (or a briefer “check-in” for regular clients) over a cup of tea. Depending on the client’s needs, the remaining duration of the session may include methodologies of/or derived from Tarot, Jungian Psychoanalytic practices (including work with dreams and archetypes), Tantra, Chaos Magick, shamanic journeying, creative ritual work, and herbalism (including ingestible, aromatic, and topical concoctions*). A suggested plan for the session will be mutually agreed upon after the consultation but prior to the rendering of any specific services.
I primarily work on a one-on-one basis. I find that this forms the greatest bond of trust and intimacy required for sacred privacy. However, couples and/or family sessions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
One-on-one sessions are conducted from the comfort and privacy of my West Hollywood studio sanctuary. Sessions are generally booked by the hour. In the occasional event that we run overtime, I extend sessions by half-hour increments for an additional (but discounted) fee. Depending on the client’s specific needs, ritual services may be extended for even longer durations and may be conducted at other agreed-upon locations on a case-by-case basis.
Last but not least, all sessions are completely confidential: all services are bound by a vow of secrecy in the spirit of sacred privacy. I take this responsibility extremely seriously and have the utmost respect for your path and the preservation of your dignity and confidence as you traverse it. (The only exceptions may include threats of catastrophic self-harm and/or the harm of others.)
Pricing and Appointment-Booking Schedule:
All service fees are on a sliding scale. I will offer a suggested amount per session, which will simply help me to maintain my worldly costs of living. I will, however, ultimately honor your material contribution, no matter its economic value.
If you have any questions or concerns prior to booking your appointment (or to go ahead and schedule some time together), please reach out to me and I will be most happy to assist.
Thank you in advance for your interest and inquiries.
